I wanted to send you a note of thanks for all that I’m learning about cooking. It’s always been a chore to cook in my life, something I did because it had to be done, but not something where I actually believed I could make food that was both more nutritious but really exciting and enjoyable. I was shocked at having such a visceral response to that first bite of crab cake/remoulade sauce. It made me want to learn how to cook well enough to have that response the majority of the time instead of just out of the blue. I also have learned with you that having the right cooking tools do make a difference in my enjoyment level and also the taste. So I have invested in a few new things! Made a chicken parm in the big fry pan and then put the pasta sauce I had previously made from the freezer on it. It wasn’t that perfect bite yet, but I’m motivated to keep trying!”
